I am a final year student of Industrial Engineering from Spain. Getting to live for a while in Istanbul which is the most populated European city is an unforgettable experience for me. This 4-month experience has made me fall in love with its people, culture and traditions and that makes me feel at home. The educational level is very good in Turkey because it is very practical and theoretical and that make students better educated. Studying this year in Turkey and in English makes my mind open more and have more opportunities for my professional future. Being an Industrial Engineering student and doing works of courses about Turkish companies and factories help me to have a perception of my career beyond the usual and the studies that I am doing are becoming more and more attractive.

My Erasmus in Istanbul was one of the best decisions in my student life. It brought a lot of challenges and hard times, but it made me a more open and flexible person. I am from a small city and that is the reason why Istanbul was very new for me. I loved it! It is a city that never sleeps indeed, a city full of cultures and differences. During this time, I met very welcoming and good people who became my friends, and some are almost as a family. We were able to visit new places and make unforgettable memories. For all of this I am very thankful to Altınbaş University and our Erasmus Office for helping us all the time.

Islamabad, Pakistan I doing my Exchange at Altinbas University, Istanbul and I can safely say that it is one of the most enriching and fruitful experiences of my life. Not only did I learn the basics of Turkish language, Turkish culture but the work I accomplished during this exchange deeply impacted me and helped me evolve both academically and personally. One thing that truly marked me during my exchange was the friendships that I got to make, I spent so much time with people coming from different countries.

My name is Martina Zoccali,from Universita Degli Studi di Milano, Italy experience at Altınbaş university has enriched me from both an educational and a cultural point of view. As a student of International Relations, I am more than satisfied since I had the chance to be in contact with a vibrant national identity, such is the Turkish one, and also to live in one of the most touristic cities in the world and get in touch with people from everywhere. Thanks to the Erasmus office and the volunteer students, my stay in Istanbul was easier and full of beautiful moments. I will always think of it has an amazing period of my life.

I have been living for the last few months in Istanbul, which has been the most wonderful city I could ever live in. I am studying in Altinbas university which is really cool and you always find people that are willing to help you. Also the life as an Erasmus student has been amazing so far, you have the chance to make new Friends around different parts of the world and experience all the city has to offer as well as travelling around Turkey
