Studying at HWR Berlin as an Erasmus Student has been one of the most vibrant and beautiful memories of my student life. I had the opportunity to learn from knowledgeable lecturers. I have met lovely people whom I am glad to call brothers and sisters thanks to the city’s friendliness and historical significance. I’m incredibly grateful to Altinbas University for giving me the chance to have this special and unforgettable experience.

Choosing South Korea for my exchange was the best decision of my life. I was lucky to study in such a diverse environment, and learn how Data Science Works in business. Altınbaş University and HUFS helped me a lot before and during my exchange period. I will never forget my time in Seoul; delicious food, rich culture, and epic concert of PSY. I am grateful to have had a chance to make lovely friends and unique memories!

Deciding to study in Istanbul was the best choice in my life. Special thanks to the assistance of Erasmus and the Exchange Office for helping deal with all the tasks. I was able to spend the most special 6 months of my life with good friends here. I will never forget the foods I tasted in Istanbul, the experiences I gained, the Bosphorus, and so on in my future life. Altınbaş, thank you for giving me the best memories!

I lived a few months in one of the most interesting and touristic cities in the world. Istanbul gave me profound experience to move around and live with people from around the world, because it’s basically the center of the planet. It cannot be compared to any other city, such and amazing history, culture, food and architecture. The people were always nice with me. Erasmus Office was always really kind and helpful with all the situations. I realized that Istanbul helped a lot to grow, it was difficult at the beginning and now I feel I can go anywhere around the world, watch every single corner, meet every single soul and enjoy all the types of food that every culture offers. I can take so many things from Istanbul like culture, parties, people, history, experience.

I am Sakshi, medical student at AU. I am originally from India and I am studying medicine in Georgian American University. I am in Istanbul for my exchange semester at Altinbaş University. This is my first exchange program and so far the journey has been amazing. The university campus and the faculty is very nice and I have experienced that the people at the university are always ready to help you. There were many ups and downs in the beginning of my journey but once I settled everything became very smooth. Life as an exchange student is very cool, you get to meet whole new bunch of people coming from different parts of the world, thanks to this program I met people from different countries and got to learn about their culture. When you are a medical student balancing studies and social life is a bit difficult you might have to miss many events but this city has so much to offer you can have fun anytime and anywhere. Istanbul is heaven for those who love food, they have the most delicious variety of desserts, is a very colourful and beautiful city and studying here feels like a dream.

I spent five months in the most beautiful city in the world. Istanbul cannot be compared to any other city in the world. It offers more culture and architecture than any other city. I also love the food and the warm people here. I would like to thank Erasmus&Exchange Office that was able to help with organizational matters. It can be said that I really enjoyed my time in Istanbul and that it was very difficult for me to break up because this city has so much to offer, you always discover something new and there is just something for everyone.
