The application periods vary by program and by the geographic location of your planned host university. Please find more specific information in the following documents.
- This type of mobility is carried out under the provisions of International Student Exchange Agreements signed by and between Altınbaş University and other universities located in different regions of the World.
- Candidates may apply to multiple mobilities provided that they indicate their choices (up to three universities) in the application form. Candidates may submit their applications to their Erasmus+ and Exchange Departmental Coordinators after ensuring the compatibility of the syllabus offered by their departments/programs with the syllabus offered by partner universities.
- No grants will be offered as part of this exchange program.
- Full-time students enrolled in a higher education program offered by Altınbaş University during the application period and during the mobility are eligible to apply to the program (Associate, bachelor’s, master’s degree, doctoral degree students, and medical speciality training)
- You need to be a student at Altınbaş University for at least 1-year.
- You need a minimum GPA of 2.5/4.0.
- You must get a sufficient TOEFL or IELTS score if the partner university is demanding one.
- Candidates are expected to meet the application requirements of the Partner University (See the list of partner universities that open a call for applications and their application requirements)
When the calls are opened, the list of documents is written in the call for application document.

- Transcript (Current official transcript)
After the necessary application documents are prepared, the documents are sent to the application system and must be loaded. In case of missing documents and Erasmus Department/Program/Vocational School Applications without the signature of the coordinator will not be accepted. The application documents that must be submitted to the Partner University are also it is the student’s responsibility to submit to the University accurately and on time.

- In the event that the number of applications exceeds the available exchange quota of the same Partner University, candidates with higher Exchange Grades will be given priority. In the event that the Partner University requires Foreign Language Proficiency, the applicants will be ranked by taking into account 50% of the student’s GPA and 50% of the score achieved in the foreign language test.
- The final decision for accepting candidates as exchange students shall be made by the Partner Universities. Candidates must receive a letter of acceptance from the Partner University.
- While any procedures regarding going abroad, finding accommodation abroad, passport, and visa procedures are principally the student’s responsibility, they may ask for support from the Partner University and Altınbaş University Erasmus+ and Exchange Office.
After you are selected please note that you will be expected to submit the documents below to Erasmus Office.
- Letter of Acceptance: You are asked to submit the “Letter of Acceptance” when you receive it from the host university.
- Learning Agreement: Students have to fill in all the parts of the Learning Agreement electronically. Hand-written Learning Agreement will not be accepted by Erasmus+ and Exchange Office. Students are asked to fill in the Learning Agreement and sign it. Students should also get the signature of the host university’s representative, Altınbaş University Departmental Exchange Coordinator. Electronically filled out and fully signed LA should be submitted to Erasmus and Exchange Office.
- Recognition Sheet Before Mobility: You are asked the fill out the Recognition Sheet in coordination with your Departmental Exchange Programmes Coordinator. The participant is required to submit the approved & signed form to Erasmus Office.
- Confirmation of Stay: After arrival at the host institution, the student must get a signature from the host institution and send this document via e-mail to our Erasmus+ and Exchange Office.
After you are selected please note that you will be expected to submit the documents below to Erasmus Office.
- Learning Agreement for Study (During the Mobility): If the student wants to make a change to the Learning agreement, the “During” part of the LA should be filled out electronically. The revised agreement should be signed by the host university’s representative, Departmental Erasmus Coordinator and Altınbaş University Erasmus Institutional Coordinator. This copy should be submitted to the Erasmus+ and Exchange Office via e-mail.
AU Exchange Students, after completing their exchange period, are obliged to submit the specified documents to the Erasmus Office, otherwise, the contract graduation procedures are not carried out. The documents are listed below:
- Certificate of Attendance: Before departure from the host institution, students must get a signature from the host institution, and submit the Certificate of Participation to the Erasmus+ and Exchange Office.
- Recognition Sheet After Mobility: You are asked to fill out the Recognition Sheet in coordination with your Departmental Exchange Program Coordinator. The participant is required to submit the approved & signed form to Erasmus Office.
- Confirmation of Stay: Before departure from the host institution, the student must get a signature from the host institution and send this document to via e-mail our Erasmus and Exchange Office.
- Transcript
