*Distribution of the grant allocated to our university by the Turkish National Agency within the scope of the project; It was made on the basis of faculty, taking into account your Erasmus points.

*If our students who are entitled to receive a grant waive their mobility; Grants will be transferred first on the basis of faculty and then in order of general success.

 

*For the grant to be used efficiently, it is foreseen that the mobility will be granted only for one semester.

*The students who are not granted can join their Mobility with a zero (0) grant.

*The orientation program will be planned and then announced to our students.

 

Students (all eligible students) wishing to participate or withdraw from the mobility must submit their petition to us until June 3, 2022.  If students who cancel participation in Erasmus Study Mobility inform after June 3, 2022, about the cancellation, Erasmus points will be deducted in their next application.

Students who will participate in the mobility should read this e-mail carefully, it is obligatory to sign a contract with all students who will participate in the mobility. Here is the HANDBOOK that we will use throughout your mobility. Please click and read carefully!

Visa Letter

The required visa letter during the visa process will be given by our office. To be able to issue the visa letter, students should send the confirmation e-mail from the consulate to erasmus@altinbas.edu.tr with the appointment dates. Visa letters are signed electronically. If a wet-signed visa letter must be given to the consulates, please specify it in the e-mail.

Grant Agreements

To sign a grant agreement, students have to get their visas. Students who obtained their visas, approx. 1 month before the starting of the mobility, the documents should be completed before the departure and sent as a scan by e-mail to erasmus@altinbas.edu.tr, if the documents are complete, the contract will be sent as a pdf and after the contract is scanned and sent by e-mail, the other documents should be sent to the address specified below or contact with us make an appointment. The grant agreement must be signed before the start of (online or physical) classes at the host institution. Grant payments will be made after receiving confirmation of arrival abroad.

Grant Agreements will be prepared for Erasmus Study students. For Grant Agreements that will be prepared by our office, you should complete these documents/procedures.

 

*Acceptance Letter (copy)

*Proof of visa document

*Academic Calendar (start date of course-end of exam dates)

*The OLS exam should be completed. The OLS (Online Linguistic Support) system which is developed by the European Commission, aims to support the development of foreign language learning and measure this development. Erasmus students have to take the online exam. Your information will be uploaded to the system and you will receive a link that directs you to the exam.

*You should get Health Insurance and bring a copy of it to the Office. The insurance must cover your education period. Important Notice: Some countries might get different insurance.

*The Learning Agreement for Study: After completing the attached Learning Agreement form, it must be signed by you and your Erasmus program coordinator at Altınbaş University, the document should be sent to the Erasmus office and signed by the partner university. Note: The credit gap between the two tables should not be high. (+/- 2 credits)

*Recognition Sheet (Tam Tanınma Belgesi): It must be filled in on the computer and the signatures must be completed. The last signature part belongs to our office. (It will not be sent to the host institution)

*For transmission of the grants, you should open a Euro account at Deniz Bank and bring a copy of it. Our University does not accept any responsibility for the transfer fee to be charged for transfers to different banks, it is covered by the grant payment to be made to the student.

*Students who will start their activities should inform us whether they will be physically present abroad or not by contacting the other institution. It is important for the preparation of visa letters and grant agreements.

 

IMPORTANT NOTE: It is impossible to give grants to students without signing the contracts, and staying abroad that starts / continues without signing the contract cannot be counted as Erasmus Mobility.
