Dear Students,

Please click for the official results of 2021-2022 Academic Year Fall/Spring Semester Erasmus Study Mobility. 

In order to benefit from the grant for all students, the students on the list will benefit from the grant ONLY for ONE TERM. Grant requests for the period in which students who will be study for two semesters cannot receive a grant will be received in the fall semester and will be evaluated by considering at the budgets.

Due to COVID19, grants will be made based on certain conditions. Click for details.

Grant agreements will be signed for 2021-2022 fall semester and 2021-2022 fall+2021-2022 spring semester Erasmus students. The contracts of the students who will study ONLY in the spring semester of 2021-2022 will be signed later. Information about grant agreements is given below.

For 2021-22 academic year curtailment (fall semester) and term changing requests, you should apply to us by August 6, 2021. If students who give up participating in Erasmus Study Mobility inform after August 6,2021 about the cancellation, erasmus points will be deducted in their next application.

Students who will participate in the mobility should read this e-mail carefully, it is obligatory to sign a contract with all students who will participate in the mobility. Here is the HANDBOOK that we will use throughout your mobility. Please click and read carefully.

Visa Letter

The required visa letter during the visa process will be given by our office. In order to be able to issue the visa letter, students should send the confirmation e-mail from the consulate to erasmus@altinbas.edu.tr with the appointment dates. Visa letters are signed by electronically. If wet-signed visa letter must be given to the consulates,please specify it in the e-mail.

Grant Agreements 

In order to sign grant agreement, students have to get their visas. Students who obtained their visas, approx. 1 month before the starting of the mobility, the documents should be completed before the departure and sent as scan by e-mail to erasmus@altinbas.edu.tr , if the documents are complete, the contract will be sent as pdf and after the contract is scanned and sent by e-mail, the other documents should be sent to the address specified below or contact with us take appointment. The grant agreement must be signed before the start of (online or physical) classes at the host institution. Grant payments due to COVID19 will be made after receiving confirmation of arrival abroad.

Grant Agreements will be prepared for Erasmus Study students. For Grant Agreements that will be prepared by our Office, you should complete these documents / procedures.

  • Acceptance Letter (photocopy)
  • Proof of visa document
  • The OLS exam should be completed. The OLS (Online Linguistic Support) system which is developed by the European Commission, aims  to support development of foreign language learning and to measure this development. Erasmus students have to take the online exam. Your information will be uploaded to the system and you will received a link that directs you to the exam.
  • You should get an Health Insurance and bring a copy of it to the Office. The insurance must cover your education period. Important Notice: Some countries might get different insurance.
  • The Learning Agreement for Study : After completing the attached Learning Agreement form, it must signed by you and your Erasmus program coordinator at Altınbaş University, the document should be sent to the Erasmus office and signed by the partner university. Note: The credit gap between the two tables should not be high. (+/- 2 credits)
  • For transmission of the grants, you should open a Euro account at Deniz Bank and bring a copy of it. Our University does not accept any responsibility for the transfer fee to be charged for transfers to different banks, it is covered by the grant payment to be made to the student.
  • Students who will start their activities should inform us whether they will be physically present abroad or not by contacting the other institution. It is important for the preparation of visa letter and grant agreements.

 

IMPORTANT NOTE: It is not possible to give grants to students without signing the contracts, and stays abroad that start / continue without signing the contract cannot be counted as Erasmus Mobility.
